Try ISNA
Distinguish missing-value errors from lookalike text
=VSTACK(ISNA(A2:A5),ISNA(NA()))The first four referenced values are ordinary text, numeric zero and FALSE. They are not #N/A errors. NA() creates a genuine missing-value error in the last row, so only that ISNA result is TRUE. VSTACK preserves all five typed Boolean results.
Inspect the current formula
Read its written arguments or observe actual operation values in a separate local calculation. This action neither applies a draft nor grades an answer.
Read the formula, one argument at a time
Explore the written function calls and their inputs. The calculation result belongs to the complete formula.
ISNA · inside VSTACK
=VSTACK(ISNA(A2:A5),ISNA(NA()))1 / 1 · value
