Your worksheet.
Your browser.
SheetTutor processes example data and formulas in your browser. There is no application feature that uploads your worksheet inputs to a server.
Saved on this device
The site saves your current lesson step, task completion and content version in local storage, together with command preferences (pins, collapse state and platform), function and shortcut bookmarks and workshop completion IDs. Local practice drafts retain your current worksheet inputs, formulas and unfinished formula text. Checkpoint records separately describe a passed challenge and which help was opened during that attempt. These records stay on this browser. The site also keeps local counts of actions such as opening practice or downloading a workbook. These counts do not contain cell contents, formulas, or a visitor identifier, and are not sent to an analytics service in this version.
Connected course history separately retains known unit IDs, version, check and scenario counts, and a passing-attempt date. It contains no worksheet cells, formulas or lesson answers. Reopening a project requires fresh current checks; a historical record does not certify mastery.
Clear your progress
Use “Clear saved progress” in a task to reset that task. The button below removes all SheetTutor progress, practice drafts, checkpoint records, bookmarks and local event counts from this browser.
Downloads and hosting
Reference workbooks contain published examples. “Download current data & formulas” recalculates locally and includes your current worksheet edits, formulas and cached results. “Download Excel report” fetches a published template and fills it locally with your current report data, tables and chart. Your records are not included in the template request. Shortcut TSV downloads contain the filtered reference list. These downloads are prepared in your browser. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information to serve the website. A private preview can also require its hosting provider’s sign-in.
Local model suggestions and formula trials
On a compatible browser, generating a suggestion passes your question, optional discussion formula and selected sample cells to the browser’s on-device model. The application does not upload these prompts to an AI server or save the conversation in browser storage. Suggestions and trial results remain in the current tab unless you download them.
The browser may first download model files and manages that cache separately. Clearing SheetTutor progress does not delete browser model files. Formula trials run only after an explicit action, in a separate local calculation worker. Frozen trial downloads contain source and result values plus non-executable formula text.

Reference links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. This version does not include advertising scripts, an external analytics SDK, or a server-hosted AI chat service.
