Zoom the worksheet with a held scrolling gesture

Open a worksheet with several populated cells and note its current zoom percentage.

Start here: Pointer over an Excel worksheet, with the current zoom percentage visible

This is a held gesture, not typing the word scroll. Trackpad direction, system-wide zoom interception and peripheral settings vary; no system preference is changed by this lesson.

Follow these instructions in your own desktop Excel workbook. This page explains the operation; it does not send commands to Excel.
