Build dynamic choices and a Top-N report

Create parent and dependent lists from real source formulas, then return complete ranked records. Change N and decide whether records tied at the cutoff should also appear.

Build six connected formulas

Apply the steps in order. Each list and the ranked report uses one spill anchor; keep the cells below it empty. The final summaries read the actual report spill.

Filter out unused source rows, take distinct regions and sort the resulting spill. Enter it in Lists A2.

Choose the report controls

The browser and cell dropdowns use the generated Lists spills. Clear Team for all eligible teams. A changed region or active-only setting keeps an old team value until you explicitly clear or reselect it; checking and download require a current valid choice.

Edit the literal source

Drafts do not change the worksheet. Applying a row, adding or deleting a record writes the bounded source table as one recoverable action. New labels should appear in the generated lists without changing their formulas.

Pending unapplied drafts: yes. Reload an applied formula, N or source row to discard its draft.

0 undo action(s), 0 redo action(s).

All data is original teaching data. The project uses up to thirty literal source records and a reserved thirty-row result area. Checks compare full rows and blank tails, then change sources and controls in a separate engine. Frozen copies retain static list references; formula copies retain dynamic spill names and validation rules. Native Excel edit/save/reopen remains a separate check.
