ACOTH function

Returns the hyperbolic arccotangent of a number

Syntax

ACOTH(number)

Square brackets indicate optional arguments.

Arguments

ArgumentRequiredMeaning
numberYesThe absolute value of Number must be greater than 1.6

Try ACOTH

Evaluate ACOTH with a stated domain

=ACOTH(A2)

The value is one half of ln((2+1)/(2-1)). A real input must have absolute value greater than 1. Edit A2 to try another input in the stated domain.

Inspect the current formula

Read its written arguments or observe actual operation values in a separate local calculation. This action neither applies a draft nor grades an answer.

Read the formula, one argument at a time

Explore the written function calls and their inputs. The calculation result belongs to the complete formula.

ACOTH · top-level call
