CSCH function

Returns the hyperbolic cosecant of an angle

Syntax

CSCH(number)

Square brackets indicate optional arguments.

Arguments

ArgumentRequiredMeaning
numberYesThe angle in radians for which you want the hyperbolic cosecant.1.5

Try CSCH

Evaluate CSCH with a stated domain

=CSCH(A2)

CSCH is 1/SINH(x). The positive input gives a positive result; zero is undefined. Edit A2 to try another input in the stated domain.

Inspect the current formula

Read its written arguments or observe actual operation values in a separate local calculation. This action neither applies a draft nor grades an answer.

Read the formula, one argument at a time

Explore the written function calls and their inputs. The calculation result belongs to the complete formula.

CSCH · top-level call

1 / 1 · number

The angle in radians for which you want the hyperbolic cosecant.
