Returns the standard normal cumulative distribution

Syntax

NORM.S.DIST(z, cumulative)

Square brackets indicate optional arguments.

Arguments

ArgumentRequiredMeaning
zYesThe value for which you want the distribution.1.333333
cumulativeYesA logical value that determines the form of the function. If cumulative is TRUE, NORM.DIST returns the cumulative distribution function; if FALSE, it returns the probability density function.true

Try NORM.S.DIST

Find cumulative area below a z score of one

=NORM.S.DIST(A2,TRUE)

A standard normal variable lies at or below one standard deviation above its mean with probability about 0.841345. TRUE requests cumulative area.
