The comma separates successive presses. This Windows English Ribbon sequence is not a held Alt+H+A+R chord.
Follow these instructions in your own desktop Excel workbook. This page explains the operation; it does not send commands to Excel.
Mac keys and context
The publisher lists Cmd+R for Mac but warns that Fill Right overrides it. The conflicting Mac binding is withheld; use the visible Alignment controls on Mac.
This catalog has no verified Mac binding for this operation. The steps below describe Windows. Choose Windows to use the walkthrough and recall controls.
Walk through the operation
- Press and release Alt+H to open the Home tab key tips.
- Press A, then R in sequence while the key tips are active.
- Compare the label positions and inspect the underlying cell values.
Expected result: The selected labels align to their right cell edges without changing the stored strings.
