Fill a service schedule from its source cells
Repair missing labels without replacing occupied cells →First, practice native boundary navigation and extended selection →
Work with nonadjacent selections, repeated entries, numeric patterns and calendar dates, text ticket codes and ordered dispatch labels. Build six visits while retaining the third visit’s premium rate and Priority status.
Explain the current workbook
These checks read applied worksheet cells. Editor fields prepare a change; use the matching action button to put that change into the worksheet. A saved record describes a checked attempt on this device.
No current lesson check.
Build the schedule
- Select
D2:D3,D5:D7and enter the number 35 once. Then selectF2:F3,F5:F7and enter the text Planned. D4 and F4 must keep their original values. - Choose Linear from two seeds. Extend
A2:A3intoA2:A7, thenC2:C3intoC2:C7. - Choose Months, source B2 and target B2:B7, step 1. Each month uses the original day, shortened only when that month has fewer days.
- Extend I2:I7 as Text with a number, step 2. Keep the seed
VIS-007, including its prefix, suffix and digit width. Fill J2:J7 as an Ordered custom list, step 1, usingReady → Review → Approved. The current seed isReview. - Select E2 and enter
=C2*D2. Choose Copy value or formula, source E2 and target E2:E7. - Enter
=SUM(E2:E7)in H2,=COUNT(A2:A7)in H3 and=MAX(B2:B7)in H4. Check the current schedule.

The first area supplies the active cell. Formula entry moves relative references from that cell to each selected destination; $ references stay fixed. Text entry keeps leading zeros and an initial equals sign as text. Drafts apply only when you press an action button.
Actual selection: None; active cell: None
Format the actual selected areas
Apply one number format to the currently selected separated areas. Values, formulas and skipped cells stay intact. One Undo reverses this grouped operation.
No verified format operation.
Extend a pattern
Linear uses two literal numeric seeds. Calendar modes use one whole numeric date; Weekdays skips Saturday and Sunday without a holiday calendar. Months and Years retain the original day anchor. These controls extend right or down; use a negative step for descending dates. Copy moves a source formula into each destination and preserves destination formats. Text with a number increments one unsigned digit group, preserving its minimum width and all surrounding text. Ordered custom lists wrap in either direction; the source must match one label exactly. These modes use explicit steps, without Flash Fill inference.
0 undo action(s), 0 redo action(s). Each applied bulk entry or fill is one workbook action.

Reset starts the original schedule and clears local observations and history. This browser lab supports up to eight nonoverlapping areas and 400 ordinary cells within A1:Z100. Merged and array-result cells are excluded from these entry/fill controls. Native shortcuts and arbitrary Auto Fill pattern inference remain separate.
