COTH function

Returns the hyperbolic cotangent of a number

Syntax

COTH(number)

Square brackets indicate optional arguments.

Arguments

ArgumentRequiredMeaning
numberYesAny real number for which you want to find the hyperbolic cotangent.2

Try COTH

Evaluate COTH with a stated domain

=COTH(A2)

COTH is COSH(x)/SINH(x). Try a negative input; zero is undefined. Edit A2 to try another input in the stated domain.

Inspect the current formula

Read its written arguments or observe actual operation values in a separate local calculation. This action neither applies a draft nor grades an answer.

Read the formula, one argument at a time

Explore the written function calls and their inputs. The calculation result belongs to the complete formula.

COTH · top-level call

=COTH(A2)

1 / 1 · number

Any real number for which you want to find the hyperbolic cotangent.
