WEIBULL.DIST function

Returns the Weibull distribution

Syntax

WEIBULL.DIST(x, alpha, beta, cumulative)

Square brackets indicate optional arguments.

Arguments

ArgumentRequiredMeaning
xYesThe value for which you want the distribution.105
alphaYesA parameter of the distribution.20
betaYesA parameter of the distribution.100
cumulativeYesA logical value that determines the form of the function. If cumulative is TRUE, WEIBULL.DIST returns the cumulative distribution function; if FALSE, it returns the probability density function.true

Try WEIBULL.DIST

Combine a Weibull shape and scale

=WEIBULL.DIST(A2,B2,C2,TRUE)

The Weibull CDF is 1-EXP(-(x/beta)^alpha). With x=2, shape 2 and scale 3, the exponent is -4/9. Shape and scale must be positive.
