Arguments

ArgumentRequiredMeaning

basisNoThe type of day count basis to use.0
calc_methodNoIs a logical value: interest accrues from the issue date = TRUE or ignored; interest accrues from the last coupon payment date = FALSE.true

Try ACCRINT

Accrue interest before the first regular coupon

=ACCRINT(A2,B2,C2,D2,E2,2,0,TRUE)

Under US 30/360, January 1 to April 1 is 90 days. Interest is 1000*6%*90/360=15. TRUE requests accrual from issue; after the first interest date, FALSE instead measures from first_interest. Use the security terms to select the date basis; do not treat these synthetic terms as a real security.
