Try VARA

Include logical and text values with VARA

=VARA(A2:A5)

The effective observations are -5,1,0,0. Their mean is -1 and squared deviations sum to 22. Sample variance divides by 4-1.

Inspect the current formula

Read its written arguments or observe actual operation values in a separate local calculation. This action neither applies a draft nor grades an answer.
